General Information about the El Cubano Natural Park

Oriented to north-south with an area of 2 km in length, El Cubano Natural Park is located on the banks of Guaurabo River.

To the possibility of knowing the life of slaves in what was the “Ingenito” – one of the first sugar factories built in Trinidad – it is joined hiking tours, horseback riding and swimming in waterfalls and pools.

In this area is the shack “Los Almendros” with bar and restaurant, and the path “Cimarrones de Javira”.

There is also here a chance to live unforgettable experiences to know in the house of the Cuban peasant, their life and customs.

El Cubano Natural Park and its Main Attractions

The trail “Traces of History”, one of the main attractions of the Natural Park El Cubano, allows to know the reality of the colonial past of the island.

Suspension bridges and a well designed path leading to refreshing Javira Cascade. Here it is present the typical forest premontane.

Populated with colorful plumage birds you can hear its joyous trines.

Its services are included into specialized programs, optional conventional excursions for lovers of nature and adventure touring, since among its options you can enjoy hiking, bird watching, camping and horseback riding.
